The Holiday Party was a big success. We had quite a crowd and some incredible food. Linda Lentin's blintz casserole was OUT OF THIS WORLD. And so was the calorie count!
The money collected for the gifts for children this year was very generous.

Vote for Board Members
Dont forget to get your ballots in before the Jan 25th cut off to vote for the members of the 2012 Board of Directors. The count will take place at the Jan 25th at Board Meeting and the board members will be announced.
Gate Clickers
There was update on the gate clicker system. If you are having trouble with your clicker, please contact Jill.
Concrete
The concrete contractor is almost done. If you had any work done that is uneven with the sidewalk next to it or cracks
in it or in any way substandard, please let Jill know ASAP so she can inspect it. The next step is for the concrete company to seal the concrete.
Mail boxes
We are presently seeking bids to build stabilizing concrete pads to keep each mailbox in place.Once the bids have been presented, the board will make a choice and the mailbox work will commence.
Lighting
If you take a walk in the park behind Bonnie Brae, you can check out the lighting chosen to light up the dark areas on our various paths throughout the community.
More lights are ordered and will be installed sometime in February.

Did you Volunteer to be a mentor at Hollywood Hills?
Don't forget to sign up as a mentor for a student that needs the extra push at the Hollywood Hills School on Sterling. Your signup sheets were emailed to you or dropped on your front terrace. There is a mentor meeting on Jan 17th at 4 pm. Call Hannah or Linda with your questions.
Yoga on Monday nights. Who cares to add some Yoga to their exercise routine for the new year? It is held ONLY on Monday nights at 5:30 pm. We have room for maybe two more students. Get strong, flexible and connect with your inner guide.
Report on our gift giving from Marlene.
We raised $844.00 That was approximately 20 homeowners. Lots of gifts. Many more than usual.
I purchased a few more toys to round out the mix and some cosmetics sets from CVS for the teens and 2 substantial gift cards, one for Publix and one for Target.
We have had much more money and participation in the past. But this was better than the last two years. a SUCCESS FOR ALL.
